Profitability Improvement:

Designed and implemented profitability improvement program for ~150 Network Partners of one of India’s top Automobile manufacturer. This has resulted in improvement in profitability by about 10% due to an increase in efficiency of working capital utilization and cost control.

Asset Utilization and Revenue Generation:

Advised a 100-year-old maritime company on various cost reduction measures, optimum asset utilization and alternative revenue generation streams and this led to a reduction in overall fixed costs by ~18% and incremental alternative revenue generation of ~15%.

Financial Analysis & MIS:

Co-ordinated with tech team to fine tune the Financial Accounting systems and designed and implemented a robust MIS giving Profitability and other Business Analysis for all Verticals for a Large Retail Distributor of a FMCG Giant.

System Design and Integration:

Designed front-end system to capture the financial data and integrate to an accounting system from forty different locations in three states of a large retail dealer. The outcome of this activity resulted in 20% savings in admin costs and an increase in the efficiency of reporting. Also, monitored the implementation of these systems across all locations and observed the improvements in the costs.

Offshore Setups:

Supported and consulted various Clients to set up offshore Subsidiaries, Holding Companies and Branches in UK, USA, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, BVI etc. Also undertaken Flipping of Domicile to favourable destinations.

Fund Raising:

Advised and supported multiple fund-raising processes in the entire journey from preparing Projections and Information Memorandum, discussion with various Investors, negotiating the Term Sheet, co-ordination with Lawyers for finalizing definitive agreements and completion of the entire compliance process for closing the round.

Business Restructuring:

Advised and undertaken various business restructuring projects viz Digital transformation, Asset Sale, Demerger. Led the restructuring from business planning, tax planning, legal agreements to implementation.

Inorganic Growth Strategy:

Advised a 40-year-old Chemical Distributor and a Leading Drug Search and Clinical news and publication company to evaluate the target companies on multiple acquisitions strategy for downstream integration so they could achieve cost benefits.

ESOPs:

Experimented and achieved great success in the design and implementation of many ESOPs schemes along with strategic inputs regarding the fixing of exercise price, vesting period and ideal number of options for employees based on expected benefit.



10.

Accounting & Compliance Process:

Designed an Accounting & Compliance Process manual for a top Global Luxury Car Manufacturer for their dealerships. Also implemented the process manual for all dealers across India.

Member of Board of Directors:

Appointed to be a member on the Board of Directors for a product company based in the UK for their London and Mumbai operations to provide Strategic Advisory.

Litigation with Co-founders:

Advised and coordinated with the legal advisors for litigation involving a long-term dispute with a Co-founder.
